GREEN RALLY-2013 (Eco Friendly Vehicle Design Competition and Awareness Program) Go green rally intends creating an awareness among the future generation about the consequence of the green house effect. the climate change is felt all over the globe. the main objective of this rally is to bring forth a revolution in automotive industry since 74%. air pollution is caused by transportation sector. It is obvious that heat trapping gasses are released into the atmosphere due to oxidation of the fuel. Though there are technologies available to reduce the emission of such heat trapping gasses, a break through is not achieved. therefore, we proposed the option of hybrid vehicle that will definitely address this problem. Our students strive towards revamping the automobile indusrtry that would lead to zero emission by developing a hybrid vehicle. during this venture they come across barriers and overcome the difficulties. their burning desire to learn, provides them an oppurtunity for innovation that ultimately leads to a green earth. this rally ads fuel to their thirst for innovation.
